Since 1997, Tri-State Resource Recovery, located in Evansville, Indiana, has processed residential and industrial recyclables. 

On January 1, 2026, ACES Recycling LLC, part of the ACES Disposal Services group of companies, acquired Tri-State from the nonprofit Enterprise Zone Education and Training Center Corporation. 

ACES Disposal strengthens its recycling capabilities and expands its service portfolio for customers seeking sustainable waste management solutions.

Regarding Glass Recycling

Although we do not accept glass in the city curbside recycling bins, we can accept clean glass if you bring it to our collection bins located in our parking lot between the hours of 8am to 3pm.  You can also bring plastic, mixed paper, aluminum, steel cans and cardboard.

The EPA estimates that 75% of America’s household waste is recyclable.
